Traces of Existence was made simply by wandering with my camera amidst the everyday. I am fascinated by how certain objects, when looked at in certain ways, seem to elevate themselves above banality, becoming somehow worthy of interrogation. In that sense, the inhabited environment is a stage upon which to bring significance to the pedestrian. Through this process, the overlooked becomes, for me, wonderfully uncanny.
